Born in Ottawa, Canada, Andre Beriault first finishedthere his classical college education. This “arts” education was his earlyinspiration in the representation of human form and portraiture; one mentor andteacher in these early days, was the acclaimed Dutch painter and photographer,Hans Van Der AA. It is this work that started monsieur Beriault’s love affairwith portraiture and storytelling.
 
Following studies in Communications & Photography atthe Montreal School of fine Arts, he then traveled to England to study Historyof Art. For some years, he was occupied professionally in the development ofinformation systems and continued during this time his ongoing education instudio portrait photography. A formof creativity he openly associates with man’s closest touch to the “Devinewithin himself”. His very unique Museproject is most noticeable.
 
Many of his photoworks have been shown in Quebec City, Montreal, Chicago, New-York and Moscow atthe Pototsky gallery.
 
In the film field,Andre Beriault has worked as director of photography on several short moviesand produced and directed a short drama video “Resurrection” that was recently selected for film festivals inNew-York city and London, Canada. He was also director of photography,cameraman and colorist for a documentary art film directed by Natalya Bronzovathat will be distributed to festivals in 2010.
 
Currently living inMontreal, Andre Beriault offers his services in photography and cinema toindividuals & producers wishing to work with this unique and contemporary artist.
